All woods and laminates are encased in a durable CA Finish. This process involves coating the wood in up to 16 coats of super glue, allowed to cure, and finally polished to a glossy sheen using up to 12,000 grit. This process encases the wood body in a smooth, durable, glossy shell that protects it from hand oils and discoloration for many years to come. Do not buy a wooden pen without knowing how it is finished.\u00a0 Many other techniques can and will most likely discolor and quickly lose their luster from use.<\/h3>\n
