Each handmade seam ripper is handcrafted by me in Pink Crush acrylic. Double ended seam rippers are a most useful tool and great gift. The body is ergonomically comfortable to hold, and each end is reversible for safe storage. Each piece is hand turned and unique. You will receive the actual item in the photos, not a different one from a bulk lot.
This outline style was inspired by a customer’s great grandmother’s awl from the late 1800’s. It was beautifully turned in walnut and she thought it resembled my seam rippers. The difference was the tip was concave cut where most of mine are a bulb type tip. This antique cut is in remembrance of her.

The body is an Acrylic composite material of mixed colors to obtain the final resulting attractive piece. It is impervious to oils and dust, and is polished to a high luster. A process of turning to exact sizes and polishing through grits ups to 12,000 obtains the polished result that is so popular. Each piece is slightly different to make it a singularly unique item.
These Seam Rippers use a double O-ring on each reversible piece, these do not scratch the polished surface like internal compression springs and hold more securely. They are easily replaceable though extremely rare.
